WORK WILD
Find the tribe...

A group needs only two things to be a tribe:
a shared interest and a way to communicate.” - Seth Godin

Led by ethnobotanist and storyteller Pridie Tiernan, our Work Wild experience features a variety of guided foraging walks and workshop sessions where ancestral skills are encountered and explored against a backdrop of folklore, stories and the mountains of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.

We teach wilderness skills a little differently here - weaving the folklore and stories of native flora and fauna into the heart of every task.
Fire plays a central part across all days. It's here we find our tribe.

Each bespoke experience is created to be perfect for the team you are bringing. No previous experience is necessary and, depending on the time of year, the experience can include elements of all of the following:

Wilderness skills / ethnobotany – fire lighting, cooking on fire, tools and crafting, whittling, cordage, basketry, plant medicine, dyeing with natural materials, ancestral art

Campfire folk stories / folk songs/ chats about the science behind the storytelling - stories and songs to inspire, exploring indiginous wisdom through folklore, spinning stories and methods to reflect upon

Wild food – foraging, cooking on fire and feasting together

Wildflower meadows, mountains and cracking views - nature, headspace, a chance to rest, re-charge, re-connect, guided walks on the mountain
