​Led by ethnobotanist and storyteller Pridie Tiernan, our Play Wild hen party experience features a variety of guided foraging walks and workshop sessions where ancestral skills are enjoyed and explored against a backdrop of folklore, stories and the mountains of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. ​We teach wilderness skills a little differently here - weaving the folklore and stories of native flora and fauna into the heart of every task. Fire is a focus throughout it all.

Each bespoke experience is created to be perfect for the group you are bringing. No previous experience is necessary and, depending on the time of year, the experience can include elements of all of the following:

​Wilderness skills / ethnobotany – fire lighting, cooking on fire, tools and crafting, whittling, cordage, basketry, plant medicine, dyeing with natural materials, ancestral art

Campfire folk stories / folk songs / spell-binding storytellings - stories and songs to inspire, exploring indiginous wisdom through folklore, spinning stories under the stars

Wild food – foraging, cooking on fire and feasting together
​
Wildflower meadows, mountains and cracking views - nature, headspace, a chance to rest, re-charge, re-connect​, guided walks on the mountain

Accommodation is available at the farm in our beautiful 17th Century Hayloft that sleeps up to six for £225p/night, bell tents for £85 p/night and camping £10pp/per night, and in nearby Crickhowell
